Clone the Create Usage Summary Template Data Processing Engine Definition

Clone the Create Usage Summary Template Data Processing Engine Definition

To prevent issues when the Usage Resource Billing Policy field in Usage Resource Object is removed in the next release, update your Data Processing Engine (DPE) definitions. As part of the upgrade, you must clone the Create Usage Summary Template DPE and update the Generate Usage Summary flow template with the new DPE definition.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Revenue Cloud Advanced license or the Revenue Cloud Billing license

User Permissions Needed
To clone a definition:	Customize Application Modify All Data

In Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Data Processing, and then select Data Processing Engine.
Click Create Usage Summary Template.
Click the quick action next to Save, and then click Save As.
Enter a name and API name for the DPE definition.
Save your changes and activate the definition.

Update the Generate Usage Summary Flow.

Update the Generate Usage Summary Flow
Update or replace the elements that have the deprecated Data Processing Engine definitions with the elements that use the new Data Processing Engine definitions.
