          Create a Rule Library for Promotions in Agentforce Revenue Management (Beta)

          A rule library maps context definition tags to fields used to define promotions and promotion eligibility criteria. Create a rule library for pricing designers to use when creating promotions.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions of Agentforce Revenue Management with the Revenue Cloud Advanced license, and the Global Promotions Management Basic Add-On license or Loyalty Management - Growth or Advanced license.
          • Rule Library Mappings
            Here's the list of mapping names and the tags in the default SalesTransactionContext context definition that they map to.

          Turn On Global Promotion Management Settings for Agentforce Revenue Management

          Agentforce Revenue Management uses Global Promotion Management capabilities when your users design and apply promotions. Before you create a rule library, enable the Global Promotion Management settings required for promotions.

          1. Turn on Context Service
          2. Turn on Global Promotions Management
          3. Turn on Promotion Evaluation and Execution
          4. To use promotions for bundled products, in Global Promotions Management Settings, turn on Product Catalog Management.

          Create a Rule Library

          After you turn on the required Global Promotions Management settings, create a rule library.

          Required Editions

          User Permissions Needed
          To create a rule library: Context Service Admin permission set
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Rule Libraries.
          2. Click New.
          3. Enter a name and an API name.
          4. For Context Definition Name of first default version, enter the API name of your extended sales transaction context definition.
            Use the same context definition in your transaction pricing procedure.
          5. For Usage Type, select Promotions with Revenue Management.
          6. Save your changes.
          7. In the Rule Library Versions list, click the name of your rule library.
          8. For each required mapping, perform these steps.
            1. In the Custom Tag Mapping section, click New.
            2. Select a mapping name, and then select its context tag.
            3. Save your changes.
          9. Activate the rule library. After your rule library is ready, share its name with pricing designers who create promotions.
