Clone the Default Rating Discovery Procedure

Clone the predefined rating discovery procedure available with Rate Management and customize it. You can also build a custom rating discovery procedure to meet your business’s unique needs.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Revenue Cloud Advanced license

User Permissions Needed
To create, update, delete, and clone rating discovery procedures:	Pricing Discovery AND Rate Management Design Time User

Important The default rating procedure uses the Usage Ratable Summary object, which isn't generally available. Get access to the object by contacting your Salesforce account executive or create your own mappings by using your own context definition.

From the App Launcher, find and select Expression Set Templates.
Select Default Rating Discovery Procedure.
Salesforce shows the rating discovery procedure in the Rating Procedure builder.
Click Save As | New Rating Discovery Procedure.
Enter a name and description for the rating procedure.
Save your changes.

Salesforce clones and saves the new rating discovery procedure. You can find the newly cloned rating discovery procedure in the Rating Discovery Procedures list.
