          Create a Rate Card Entry for Base Rate Cards

          Define a per-unit rate applicable to the usage resource. When creating a new rate card entry for Base Rate Cards, you define the per-unit rate that will be applied to the usage resource. This per-unit rate specifies the cost or charge for each unit of the resource consumed.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Revenue Cloud Advanced license
          User Permissions Needed
          To create rate cards entries: Rate Management Design Time
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Rate Management.
          2. From the app navigation menu, select Rate Cards.
          3. Open a rate card record of type base.
          4. Click Rate Card Entries, and then click New.
          5. Search for and select a usage resource, a sellable product and select its product selling model.
          6. Specify the rate and its unit of measure, such as currency or token.
          7. Choose if the rate is negotiable or non-negotiable.
          8. Select the status.
            Draft Indicates that the rate card entry is open for modifications. This is the default value.
            Active Indicates that the rate card entry is in use for rating the usage-based products and you can make limited modifications, such as the status of the record.
            Inactive

            Indicates that the rate card entry is not in use anymore.

          9. Set the date range, and then save your changes.
