To calculate the base rate of a usage resource based on the rate card type, use the Base Rate element.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Revenue Cloud Advanced license

An organization can have different rates for the same resource based on a customer’s consumption. They can track these rates by using rate cards. The Base Rate element can track the resource rates entered into rate cards.

Base Rate Variables
To monitor rates, use the RateManagementContext context definition and associate the Base Rate element with the Rate Card Entries lookup table.
