          Configure Clause Category

          When creating a clause set, to categorize your clauses, select the category for the clause set. In Setup, the system admin defines the clause categories for clauses.

          The Document Clause Library is a central repository of preapproved and prebuilt standardized template clauses that you can use to build legal documents such as contracts. For information on Clause Library, see Document Clause Library.

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, Professional, and Developer Editions
          USER PERMISSIONS NEEDED  
          To configure clause category: ClauseDesignerUser
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter clause, and then select Clause Category Configuration.
          2. Click New Clause Category Configuration.
          3. Provide these details:
            • Category Name: Enter a name for the clause category.

            • Developer Name: The name is autopopulated after you enter the category name.

            • Usage Type: Select Contract Clause Category for Salesforce Contracts.

          4. Save your changes.
