Configure Clause Category
When creating a clause set, to categorize your clauses, select the category for the clause set. In Setup, the system admin defines the clause categories for clauses.
The Document Clause Library is a central repository of preapproved and prebuilt standardized template clauses that you can use to build legal documents such as contracts. For information on Clause Library, see Document Clause Library.

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter clause, and then select Clause Category Configuration.
- Click New Clause Category Configuration.

Provide these details:

Category Name: Enter a name for the clause category.

Developer Name: The name is autopopulated after you enter the category name.

Usage Type: Select Contract Clause Category for Salesforce Contracts.

Configure sharing settings to control user access to document clauses and clause sets at the object, field, and record levels.
