Incorporate Reviewer Changes
from
Private External Review
After the external reviewers submit the reviewed document, the updated document with all
changes is checked into Salesforce and made accessible only to the contract author. The external
review changes are anonymized. The contract author receives an in-app notification and email
confirming the completion of the external review and can then review the changes and finalize the
updated document.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and
Developer editions.
User Permissions Needed
To incorporate external reviewers' changes:
CLM Admin
OR
CLM User
OR
CLM Digital Experience Partner
User
Click the external review completed in-app notification or the email link.
You can preview the contract document version with changes from the external
reviewers.
To incorporate the changes, select the action as Check Out.
To open the document in the Microsoft 365 editor, select Modify Contract in
Microsoft 365 editor, and click Check Out.
You only see the Document tab when you check out and open the document in the Microsoft
365 editor.
To
view the document changes, including details such as which sections were
updated, move the contract state to Draft, and then initiate an internal review.
On
the Changes tab you can view the updated sections or clauses, along with the
accepted and rejected changes.
Click OK.
The contract document version opens in a new tab.
On the Home tab, click the Salesforce Contracts for Word
add-in.
Review and address changes from external reviewers.
To complete the review process, click Check In.
To confirm the request, click Check In.
A new version of the
document
is created.
