Salesforce Contracts Winter '24 Release Notes
Salesforce Contracts has introduced obligation and section management. Contract authors can now facilitate collaborative internal contract reviews, and offline external contract reviews. Additionally, your users can attach additional files for contract e-signature and mark content within a document as clauses.
- Easily Ensure Superior Contract Performance and Compliance
Use Obligation Management to track contractual commitments by status, filter by parties and states, and receive notifications when obligations change. For example, track payment due dates and renewal terms to ensure compliance and reduce risk. - Attach Additional Documents for Enhanced Contract E-Signature Experience
Contract authors can now elevate their e-signature experience by including supplementary files when they send contract documents for e-signature. DocuSign handles the contract document signing flow and the integration between Salesforce Contracts and DocuSign ensures an efficient e-signing journey for your stakeholders. - Enable Efficient Contract Reviews with Easy View of Edits at Each Stage
Use the Salesforce Contracts Connector for Word add-in to facilitate collaborative internal online contract reviews and offline external contract reviews. The add-in combines the capabilities of Microsoft 365 Word with Salesforce Contracts for a user-friendly, comprehensive integration. - Modularize Documents with Sections and Clause Marking
In the Salesforce Contracts Connector for Word add-in, contract authors can easily create sections within document templates and contracts. They can also directly mark content as clauses within a document. Define section names and lock sections to restrict editing. Also, add document clauses within sections. Mark edited document clauses and new content within a document as clauses. The marked clause is mapped to a contract document for each version. - New and Changed Salesforce Contracts Objects
Do more with these new objects in Salesforce Contracts. - Enable Salesforce Contracts Connector for Word (Microsoft 365) Setting
To continue to use the Microsoft 365 Word features after you upgrade to Winter ‘24, you must enable the Salesforce Contracts Connector for Word (Microsoft 365) setting. - Change in Processing Time to Check In and Save Documents in Microsoft 365 Editor
Now, it takes up to one minute to check in a contract document version and save a document template in the Microsoft 365 editor. The processing time depends on the document’s size and contents. Wait until the processing is complete because closing the document ends the check in and saving process.
