Turn On Multimodal Single Document Contract Extraction

Use multimodal extraction to extract contract details and draft clauses.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
User Permissions Needed
To configure multimodal extraction:

CLM Admin User

AND

Contracts AI User

AND

Prompt Template Manager

Before you begin:

  1. Enable Einstein Generative AI.
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Einstein Setup, and then select Einstein Setup.
      If you can’t find Einstein Setup, make sure that your org meets the prerequisites for the generative AI features that you plan to use. For more information, contact your Salesforce account executive.
    2. Turn on Einstein.
  2. Enable Document Extraction.
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Contracts AI, and then select Contract Extraction.
    2. Turn on Contract Document Extraction.
