Details Page for a Display Record

Details Page for a Display Record

In Visual Studio Code based Modeler, configure a master and detail page linked to the Displays cockpit card. Add a button to launch a new page and show the list of display items on a parent or master page. Additionally, learn how to configure the app to open a details page and load the display item information when you tap a display item from the parent list.

          Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

          Prerequisite

Create the Displays custom card in the Your Day cockpit.

Image shows the parent list and details pages of display record.
          • Show All Displays on a New Page
To launch a new screen that shows a scrollable list of all the display record, add a button with icon to the Display cockpit card and assign action to the button. The section of the screen that shows the compilation of displays is the master list or parent list.
          • View Display Information on the Details Page
Create a Details page by using the master-detail pattern and link the page to a cockpit card button.
          • Open Display Record Detail From Cockpit Card
Sales reps can tap a display record on the cockpit card and launch the display detail page directly on a master detail screen. For example, when you tap the Summer Sale Dump Bin display on the Display cockpit card, the app opens the matching record in the master list and shows its details.
