            Create Care Determinant Types

            Create a library of standard types or classes of determinants that patients or members encounter. Predefined types are Social, Behavior, Genetics, and Medical. Access to transportation is considered a care determinant. Make sure to modify user permissions so that users have access to these types.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience

            Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud or Life Sciences Cloud
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Care Determinant Types, and then click New.
            2. Enter a name for the determinant type such as Access to Transportation.
            3. To make the determinant type available to use, select Active.
            4. Select the type of determinant you’re creating, such as Social.
            5. Select the social or behavioral domain for the determinant, such as Transportation.
            6. Save your changes.
