          Update Sharing Settings for Surveys

          Authorize participants to participate in surveys when they’re invited to do so.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud

          User Permissions Needed
          To configure Surveys: Read, Create, Edit, and Delete on Surveys, Survey Invitations, Survey Responses, and Survey Subjects
          To give end users the ability to read and respond to surveys:

          Customer Community + License

          AND

          Read on Survey Invitations

          AND

          Read and Create on Survey Responses

          1. From Setup, enter Sharing Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Sharing Settings.
          2. Configure the sharing settings for surveys and survey invitations.
            Settings Default Internal Access Description
            Survey Private Only participants with a link to the survey can access it.
            Survey Invitation Private Only participants with a survey invitation can open the survey.
          3. If the participant isn’t already a member of your Health Cloud site, add them.
            External users can only view Health Cloud surveys from within a site.
            1. To add the participant to the site, open their care plan and select the Care Team tab and select Add Care Team Member.
            2. Enter the participant’s name and role and select Add Member to Community.
            3. On the Contact page’s action menu, select View Customer User. Ensure that the profile is Customer Community Plus User.
            4. Assign the Read permission for Surveys and Survey Invitations.
            5. Assign the Create, Read, and Update permissions for Survey Responses.
