Upload Supporting Documents for the Authorization Request
Authorization requests often require supporting clinical documents. In the Authorization
Intake process, the Upload Clinical Documents window provides a checklist of required
documents.

To upload documents:
Health Cloud Utilization Management, OmniStudio User, and RuleEngine Runtime
permission sets
You can also upload additional documents and add notes from the requesting provider.
Note The list of documents required for an authorization request is displayed based on the
rules that your admin configured. Contact your admin for more information.
From App Launcher, go to the Utilization Management for Payers app, and do the
following:
Select an authorization request type.
Run an eligibility check for your care request or link a concurrent review to an existing
request, depending on your request type.
Add care request details to the authorization request.
Add provider details to the authorization request.
From Document Type, select the document checklist item for which you’re adding a
document.
Click Upload Files, and select the document.
Click Done.
To upload another document type, click Add.
To add a document that’s not listed in the checklist, select Other
as the Document Type and add the file.
Add observations or comments from the requesting provider.
Click Next to review the authorization request.
