Select a Patient for the Authorization Request

Select the patient who you’re creating the authorization request for. You can search for a patient either by their Patient ID or name.

User Permissions Needed
To select a patient:	Utilization Management Provider User permission set AND OmniStudio User permission set

Utilization Management Provider User permission set

AND

OmniStudio User permission set

From App Launcher, go to your home page.
Click Create Authorization Request.
In the Search Patient screen, do one of the following:
1. Click Patient Details and enter the patient’s name and birthdate.
2. Click Patient ID and enter the patient’s ID.
Click Show Patients.
From the list of matching patient records, select the appropriate patient.
Click Next to select the services for your request.
