View a Summary of a Submitted Authorization Request

After submitting an authorization request, you can quickly review the request sent to the payer by viewing the summary.

Before you perform this task, add documentation and submit an authorization request.

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud

User Permissions Needed
To view summary of a submitted request:	Utilization Management Provider User permission set AND OmniStudio User permission set

Utilization Management Provider User permission set

AND

OmniStudio User permission set

In the View Request Summary section, review the details of the submitted authorization request:
- Case details such as case number, status, and created date
- List of services requested
- Servicing provider details
Review information that’s received from the payer such as the Authorization Reference Identifier and additional notes. It may take a while to receive this information from the payer and save the information in Health Cloud.
To get detailed information on the case for this authorization request and its progress, click View Case Details.
You can track the status of the case and keep your provider informed on the approval or denial of the request.
