Create a Campaign Member Activity in Journey Builder
Configure a campaign member activity in the Marketing Cloud Engagement Journey Builder app.
To create a record using the Campaign Member activity, a Campaign ID and either a Contact ID or a Lead ID are required.
- Drag the Campaign Member activity onto the canvas.
- Click Create New.
- Select and configure the Marketing Cloud Engagement attributes or Sales or Service Cloud fields to update.

Enter a name and save.
When mapping fields, you can’t edit the optional Status field until you select a Campaign ID because different campaigns can have different statuses.
