Transactional Reconciliation in User-Initiated Sends
Transactional Reconciliation helps you track the final delivery status of each transactional email sent through a user-initiated send. When enabled, Marketing Cloud Engagement monitors messages and assigns a final disposition (Sent or Not Sent) based on delivery signals during the expiration window.
To use Transactional Reconciliation, your send must reference a data
extension created from the Sendable_Reconcilable_Data_Extension template.
This template includes the reconciliation fields needed for message tracking.
For more information see, How Transactional Reconciliation Works and Create a Sendable Data Extension for Transactional Reconciliation.
- In Email Studio, go to Interactions > User-Initiated Emails.

- Select the Reconcilable checkbox.
- Specify the Reconciliation Expiration Time in hours and save your changes.
- Before you send your email, you can use the Test Send to review the reconciliation settings. You can find the reconciliation settings under Send Properties.
