            Create Multiple-Question Surveys

            String together multiple vote or survey messages in MobileConnect for Marketing Cloud Engagement.

            For example, Northern Trail Outfitters wants to ask customers three questions after they purchase an item. The customer receipt includes the question “Did you enjoy your purchasing experience?”, a short code, the keyword SURVEY, and the potential responses YES and NO. After customers send their response, either SURVEY YES or SURVEY NO, they receive a message that asks them to respond with the keyword RETURN and an answer to the question “Would you return to this store for future purchases?” After customers send in the response to the second question, either RETURN YES or RETURN NO, they receive a message that asks them to respond with the keyword FRIEND and an answer to the question “Would you recommend this store to a friend?” They send in their final response, either FRIEND YES or FRIEND NO. The final message they receive is a confirmation message with a discount offer.

            1. Create the call to action for the first question in the survey. For example, print it on the customer’s receipt.
            2. Create the first vote or survey message.
              1. Include the keyword. For example, SURVEY.
              2. Include a YES answer and a NO answer.
              3. Indicate that there’s no correct answer.
              4. Include an outbound message with the question, the possible responses, and the code. For example, Would you return to this store for future purchases? Text RETURN Y for Yes or RETURN N for No to < code >.
            3. Create the second vote or survey message.
              1. Include the keyword. For example, RETURN.
              2. Include a YES answer and NO answer.
              3. Indicate that there’s no correct answer.
              4. Include an outbound message with the question, the possible responses, and the code. For example, Would you recommend this store to a friend? Text FRIEND Y for Yes and FRIEND N for No to < code >.
            4. Create the third vote or survey message.
              1. Include the keyword. For example, FRIEND.
              2. Include a YES answer and a NO answer.
              3. Indicate that there’s no correct answer.
              4. Include an outbound message with a confirmation and discount offer. For example, Thanks for participating! Please enjoy this 10 percent discount on a single item when you next visit our store!
