Create an Info Capture Message in MobileConnect

Prompt recipients to provide information in Marketing Cloud Engagement. This information is stored as attributes on the contact record.

1. On the MobileConnect Overview screen, click Create Message.
2. Select the Info Capture template.
3. Enter a name for the message.
4. Select the short or long code to use.
5. Select or create the keyword.
6. Move to the next page, and then select the attribute to capture.
7. Enter the request text.
8. Select more attributes, as necessary.
9. Enter the rest of the information.
10. Move to the next page and review the message information.
11. Set the dates that the message is active.
12. Set the keyword response window, which determines when the message interacts with incoming messages.
13. Schedule or send the message
