Send Information to Conference Attendees
Invite conference attendees to subscribe to your SMS and email messages sent during the conference by using the outbound message, email opt-in, and mobile opt-in templates in MobileConnect.
For example, Northern Trail Outfitters hosts a yearly conference for regional managers. The staff plans to use email messages to provide schedules, daily event digests, and follow-up messages after the conference. The SMS messages provide more immediate communication for issues like schedule or room changes and surprise pop-up sessions. As part of the printed materials sent out for the conference, the marketer included the Northern Trail Outfitters short code and instructions to text in TEXTME or EMAILME to receive the messages.
