Create a Vote or Survey Message in MobileConnect

Invite people to vote or respond to a one-question survey via SMS in Marketing Cloud Engagement.

1. On the MobileConnect Overview screen, click Create Message and select the Vote/Survey template.
2. Enter the message information and select your audience.
3. Select the survey type.
   • True/False
   • Yes/No
   • Multiple Choice
4. Enter the answer choices and select the correct answer, if applicable.
5. Select the Response Limit.
6. Enter these messages:
   1. Outbound Message (The keyword must be placed before the Y and N values)
   2. Response Message
   3. Exceeded Response Limit Message
   4. Error Message
7. Enter the rest of the information and move to the next page.
8. Review the message information.
9. Set the dates that the message is active.
10. Set the keyword response window, which is the time period that the message interacts with incoming messages.
11. Schedule or send the message.
