          Manage Push Notifications

          Manage Push Notifications

After you create a push notification in MobilePush, you can edit, inactivate, copy and reuse, or delete the notification. Edit the message before it sends. Inactivate the message to keep it from functioning. While you can’t reactivate the message, you can copy it and reuse the message. Delete the message when it’s no longer needed.

To manage a push notification, select it on the Overview screen.

          • Edit a Push Notification
Edit a push notification in MobilePush. You can edit a draft or scheduled message. Any change you make applies to future sends of the message.
          • Copy and Reuse a Push Notification
In MobilePush, copy a push notification to use the same general content and settings from an existing push notification. After you copy a push notification, you can make edits and send the new message. Any tracking information related to the new message does not affect tracking information from the original message.
          • Delete a Push Notification
In Marketing Cloud Engagement, you can delete MobilePush messages that you no longer need. Make sure that you no longer need the message for any reason because deleting a message permanently removes it from your account.
          • Inactivate a Push Notification
When you create and schedule a message, the message status is set to active. An active message sends as scheduled. To keep a push notification from functioning in MobilePush, change the message status to inactive.
