          Replace Inbox and Deleted Contacts

          Replace Inbox and Deleted Contacts

When you send an Inbox message, you can use the Replace Inbox feature to overwrite an existing Inbox message on the user’s device. Here’s an example of what happens when a user is deleted or removed from the source audience in between message sends.

On the first day, you send an Inbox message to your customer audience Loyal Customers. The next time you send a message to the same audience using Replace Inbox, the new message replaces the first message.

If a user is deleted or leaves the audience data source between the first and second message, the first message is deleted instead.
