          Create a Hotel Rules Segment

          Build segments using hotel rules. Segment customers based on such factors as travel party size, booking status, the number of nights someone stays over a time range, or the add-ons the customer purchased. Use the Hotel rules segment for campaign targeting in mobile or email campaigns.

          Required Editions

          Permissions Needed
          To create segments: A role with Campaign Author or Segment Create/Edit permissions

          An administrator must install the Hotel Gear on the dataset that you use to build the segment.

          1. From the main navigation, select User Segments | User Segments.
          2. Click New Segment.
          3. From the Select Category dropdown, choose Gears.
          4. From the Select Rule dropdown, choose Hotel.
          5. Select the Hotel rule you want to add.
          6. Complete the configuration options.
          7. Add additional rules.
          8. Save your work.
