          Benefits of Marketing Cloud Next for Personalization

          Marketing Cloud Next for Personalization enables you to extend your Marketing Cloud Personalization data to Data 360 without affecting your existing Marketing Cloud Personalization setup and infrastructure.

          Salesforce Personalization is natively built on Data 360, and uses a flat, table-based setup structure. Marketing Cloud Personalization, however, uses a graph-based setup structure that isn’t directly compatible with Data 360.

          Using custom-built tools, you can perform a one-time transfer of your Marketing Cloud Personalization catalog metadata and item data. Transferring this data enables you to:

          • Automatically convert your Marketing Cloud Personalization graph-based setup structure to a flat, easier to visualize, table-based structure that’s compatible with Data 360.
          • Adjust and test metadata in a sandbox environment.

          Marketing Cloud Next for Personalization provides a unique and convenient vantage point to test and experiment with Salesforce Personalization using an already-existing catalog. You can continue using Marketing Cloud Personalization as you always have, while testing your data with Salesforce Personalization to generate personalized content.
