            Metadata Transfer Data Kits and Contents

            The .zip file created by the metadata transfer tool contains two data kits–a profile & engagement data kit and a catalog data kit.

            Data Kit Name Data Kit Filename Purpose
            Profile & Engagement Data Kit Persnl <dataset_name> Catalog Metadata Transfer This data kit contains both the Marketing Cloud Personalization Profile & Engagement data model and the Catalog data model. This data kit provides full configuration, including the necessary data streams.
            Catalog Data Kit Persnl <dataset_name> Prfl Engmt Metadata Transfer This data kit contains only the Catalog data model. It is intended for use only if web data streams are already created.

            The Profile & Engagement data kit contains two data stream bundles. One bundle is for web data streams, and the other is for profile data streams.

            Data Stream Bundle Name Contents
            Web Data Stream <dataset_name>_Web_Bundle_Data_Streams

            Web data streams for ingesting profile and engagement data:

            • Behavioral Events
            • Identity
            • ContactPointEmail
            Profile Data Stream <dataset_name>_Profile_Bundle_Data_Streams

            • DMOs for enabled profile objects

            • All Marketing Cloud Personalization user attributes defined on each DMO

            • DMOs for enabled Marketing Cloud Personalization catalog object type and their relationships

            • All data lake objects (DLOs)

            • S3 Connector Data Streams for each enabled catalog object to facilitate catalog ingestion

            • S3 Connector Data Stream for Individual DMO to facilitate ingestion as a Marketing Cloud Personalization User ETL stream

            The catalog data kit contains only catalog-specific objects, DLOs, and streams. Each catalog object has its own stream for ingestion.
