Export the Marketing Cloud Personalization Catalog

Use the catalog data export tool to create CSV files containing your Marketing Cloud Personalization catalog data. This data includes the product, article, blog, or similar data objects along with all associated fields.

Warning The Marketing Cloud Personalization data transfer tools are intended for limited use at the beginning of the sales process or during implementation. After determining initial use cases, we advise setting up an integration for populating your catalog in Data 360 on a ongoing basis. Never use Marketing Cloud Personalization as an ongoing source of catalog data.

Before exporting your catalog, make sure to:

• Create or have access to your SFTP account.

  See Create an SFTP Account for details.

• Configure an Amazon S3 connector in Data 360.

  See Amazon S3 Connector in the Data 360 Integration Guide for details.

• Create an activation target in Data 360 to publish segments to file storage activation platforms like Amazon S3.

To export an MC Personalization catalog:

1. From Marketing Cloud Personalization main navigation, select Settings | Marketing Cloud Next.

   The Marketing Cloud Next for Personalization Data Export page opens.

2. In the Catalog Data Export Tool section, click Export Data to SFTP.
   The system creates and downloads CSV files of the Marketing Cloud Personalization catalog to your customer bucket on the Marketing Cloud SFTP file server.
