          Add Mobile Campaign Targeting Rules

          Add Mobile Campaign Targeting Rules

Campaign-wide rules control the visibility of mobile campaigns based on things like segments, visit count and duration, and user actions. Set rules at the campaign level when you want to holistically control how a campaign displays.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Premium Edition
          Permissions Needed
To add mobile campaign rules: A role with Campaign Create/Edit permissions

Add the rules that support your campaign strategy. If you include multiple rules in the same campaign, to qualify for the campaign, mobile app users must satisfy all rules regardless of the order (and logic). For a list of mobile campaign rules, see Mobile Campaign-Wide Rules.

          1. Create or edit a Mobile In-App Message, Mobile Data, or Mobile Push campaign. For more information, see Create a Mobile In-App Message Campaign, Create a Mobile Data Campaign, and Create a Mobile Push Campaign.
          2. Click Setup.
          3. Select Campaign Settings.
          4. In the Campaign Wide Rules section, click +New Rule for the desired group of rules.
          5. To select a rule category, click Select Rule Type.
          6. Complete the other options, which vary by category and rule.
          7. To add additional rules for the same campaign, click +New Rule.
          8. To save your campaign, click Save.
          9. Next, review targeting rule options for experiences and messages against your strategy and goals for your campaign. Add any that support the success of your campaign.
