You use a segment’s ID when defining its automation process in Automation Studio. There are also instances when you need a segment’s ID for an ETL data feed.

To view a segment ID: A role with Segments View permissions
          1. From the main navigation, select User Segments | User Segments.
          2. Select the segment you want to export.
          3. Hover over a column, click the three stacked dots, and select Columns | ID from the menu that appears. The ID consists of five alphanumeric characters. If you imported it from Data 360, it starts with a c360 prefix and is followed by a 15-digit ID. Segment IDs are case-sensitive.
            Note
Note You can also find a segment’s ID in the address bar of your browser by scrolling to the end of the URL until you see “segmentId=.”
          4. Use the segment ID in an ETL data feed or to define the segment’s automatic export process in Automation Studio.
