          User Permissions Needed
To edit permission sets: Salesforce Admin

          • Data 360 Marketing Admin
          • Data 360 Data Aware Specialist
To build segments for Data 360 One: Data 360 One User permission set

Before you start, connect Account Engagement to Data 360 and ingest Account Engagement data into Data 360.

          Note
Note Account Engagement user permissions allow access to Enhanced Security Data Spaces. To create a dynamic list from Data 360, users require a permission set that grants access to the default Data Space and to view the Market Segment Definition.

Create a Segment in Data 360

You can use Account Engagement prospect data to create a segment in Data 360.

Make sure that the Account Engagement Integration ID is mapped for each profile/person object you use.

          1. In your default data space, create a segment in Data 360 based on a DMO that includes the Account Engagement Integration ID.
          2. Segment your data with attributes.
          3. Publish your segment in Data 360.

Create a Dynamic List from a Data 360 Segment

After you create a Data 360 segment, create a dynamic list in Account Engagement to pull in your segment. You can create up to 100 dynamic lists per business unit and up to 1 million prospects per list. Each segment can be connected to one dynamic list.

Data 360 segments and Account Engagement dynamic lists update automatically based on criteria. Monitor your segments and dynamic lists over time, and adjust your criteria as needed.

          Note
Note For Data 360 One, only segments created in the default Data 360 data space are supported. Users can only view segments shared with their companion org. For a segment to successfully create a dynamic list, a prospect has to be within the Companion org's business unit.
          1. Create a dynamic list using a name that’s similar to the Data 360 segment that you’re connecting the dynamic list to, and select Dynamic List.
          2. For Dynamic List Type, select Data Cloud segment.
          3. Select a published segment from the default data space.
          4. Save your work.

A new dynamic list can take up to 3 hours to populate for the first time. Allow up to 1 hour for a dynamic list to update after a Data 360 segment is refreshed.

          Note
Note Record counts can vary between Account Engagement dynamic lists and Data 360 segments. For example, prospects in the Recycle Bin or those without a matching Data 360 Account Engagement Integration ID and Salesforce ID aren't counted. Segments in Data 360 can be built on Individuals, Unified Individuals, Leads, or Contacts. The object that you choose affects the value in the Account Engagement Integration ID field.
