          Identify Prospects Who Confirmed Their Opt-In

          To identify whether a prospect has confirmed their subscription, create a custom prospect field in Account Engagement. This field doesn’t need to sync with Salesforce.

          Required Editions

          User Permissions Needed
          To create custom fields Account Engagement Administrator role
          1. Open the Prospect Fields page.
            • In Account Engagement, select Admin | Configure Fields | Prospect Fields.
            • In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Settings | Object and Field Configuration | Prospect Fields.
          2. Click + Add Custom Field.
          3. Enter Confirmed Opt-In for the field name.
          4. For the field type, select Checkbox, and then select the option to use predefined values for the checkboxes.
          5. Enter a value to indicate confirmation, such as True. To sync with Salesforce, you must add another value, such as False.
          6. Click Create Custom Field.

          Next, create a form handler with a completion action that updates the custom prospect field you created each time someone confirms their subscription.
