To manage your confirmed opt-in process, create two dynamic lists in Account Engagement.
The first is for people who submitted your signup form but haven’t confirmed their subscription.
The second dynamic list is for subscribers who have clicked the confirmation link in the
autoresponder email.

To create a dynamic list:
Account Engagement Administrator or Marketing
role
Open the Lists page.
In Account Engagement, select Marketing | Segmentation | Lists.
In the Lightning app, select Prospects, and then Segmentation | Segmentation Lists.
Click + Add List.
Name the list.
For the not confirmed list, enter Not Confirmed.
For the confirmed list, enter Confirmed Opt-In.
Select Dynamic List.
Don’t make this list public. Public lists are visible to subscribers on email preference
center pages.
Click Set Rules.
Select Match all, and then click Add new
rule.
Use the dropdown menus to set the criteria.
For the not confirmed list, use Prospect custom field |
Confirmed Opt-In | isn’t |
True AND Prospect form or Prospect
form handler | Name of your signup form | was completed
successfully.
For the confirmed opt-in list, use Prospect custom field |
Confirmed Opt-In | is |
True.
To confirm that your dynamic list populates as expected, click
Preview.
Click Run Rules.
After you create your two dynamic lists, only prospects who have confirmed their subscription
are added to the confirmed opt-in list. Use only the confirmed opt-in list for marketing
emails.
