To confirm their opt-in, a subscriber clicks the confirmation link in an email you send
after they submit your signup form. You can add the confirmation link to an existing Account Engagement email template, or create a template to use.

To create or edit email templates:
Account Engagement Administrator or Marketing
role
Before you complete this task, have these assets ready:
An email template that you want to send to subscribers to confirm their
subscription.
In Account Engagement, select Marketing | Emails | Templates.
In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Email and
then Templates.
To use the enhanced email experience in the Lightning app, select Email
Content.
Click the component that you want to edit.
Highlight the text you want to link, click the , and then paste the URL for your form handler.
Paste the URL for your form handler.
Copy the merge field string ?email={{Recipient.Email}} and paste it on
the end of the endpoint URL.
Click OK.
Save your work.
In classic email for Account Engagement, click
Publish to Template.
In the enhanced email experience, click Activate for
Automations.
Next, add a completion action to your signup form that sends the confirmation email when
someone submits your signup form.
