Automatically Send Prospects an Email When They Submit Your Signup Form
When someone submits your signup form, they receive the email template you created with
a link to confirm their subscription. Add a completion action to the Account Engagement form or
form handler that you use as your email signup form.

User Permissions Needed
To create or edit forms and form handlers:
Account Engagement Administrator or Marketing
role
Edit the form or form handler that you use as your signup form.
Click Completion Actions.
Fill in the Thank You Content that your prospects see when they submit your form and tell
them to check their email to confirm their subscription.
If you’re using a form handler, make sure the form includes a thank you page or message
telling subscribers to check their email.
Under Completion Actions, click the Action dropdown menu and select
Send auto responder email.
To limit confirmation to certain prospects, use a conditional completion action.
Start typing the name of your confirmation email template, and then select it.
Save your work.
Next, create two dynamic lists based on the confirmed opt-in prospect field you created: a
list for prospects who haven’t yet confirmed their subscription and another for prospects who
have.
