Managing Prospects with Excessive Tracked Activity

Managing Prospects with Excessive Tracked Activity

When a prospect’s activity levels are high enough to impact performance for your business unit, Account Engagement pauses activity tracking for the prospect. Often, this level of activity is the result of a bot.

          • Prospects with Paused Activity Tracking
When a prospect is paused due to bot-like activity, an icon appears next to their name on the prospect table, and an error appears on their prospect record. Paused prospects aren't eligible for automations, including dynamic lists.
          • How to Avoid Excessive Prospect Activity
When a prospect accumulates enough activity to have activity tracking paused, it’s often the result of a bot and not a real prospect. However, sometimes the problem isn’t caused by bot activity. If you’re experiencing paused tracking, consider these scenarios to prevent future issues.
          • Delete Visitor Records to Restore Paused Prospects
A prospect is paused when their activity level is high enough to impact Account Engagement performance, including prospects used for testing. You can restore a prospect by permanently deleting their visitor records. A paused prospect is restored when they have fewer than 1,000 visitor records.
