Email is included with Marketing Cloud Next and all other channels are available as paid add-ons. - Considerations for Managing Marketing Consent Data
When working with consent management tools in Marketing Cloud Next, keep these considerations in mind. - Create a Communication Subscription in Marketing Cloud Next
Create a communication subscription for each category of marketing content that you send, such as product updates. For each subscription that you create, add marketing channels, such as email, SMS, and RCS. Subscribers must give consent to receive promotional messages from each channel type. - Create a Custom Preference Page For Marketing Channels
Design a branded preference page where subscribers can manage their subscriptions to your marketing channels. You can create a custom preference page for any messaging channel, including email, SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS. - Edit a Default Preference Page in Marketing Cloud Next
Marketing Cloud Next comes with default preference pages for email, SMS, and WhatsApp. Preference pages are visible to subscribers when they click the Preference Manager link in a marketing message. The default marketing communication subscription is included on the page, but you can add or remove subscriptions as needed. Preference pages are customized for each recipient. - Formatting Marketing Consent Import Files
Before you import consent data into Marketing Cloud Next, make sure that your import file is saved as a CSV and that the columns and values are formatted correctly. - Import Consent Data to Marketing Cloud Next
If you collect consent data outside of Marketing Cloud Next, import it as a CSV. Each import corresponds to a single marketing channel, communication subscription, and consent status. - Review Marketing Consent Data
You can review consent statuses on individual record pages in Marketing Cloud Next or in bulk in Data 360.
