          Create a Communication Subscription in Marketing Cloud Next

          Create a communication subscription for each category of marketing content that you send, such as product updates. For each subscription that you create, add marketing channels, such as email, SMS, and RCS. Subscribers must give consent to receive promotional messages from each channel type.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud Next Growth or Advanced Edition, and in Starter and Pro Suite Editions. Your edition determines the options that you have.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create communication subscriptions:

          Marketing Cloud Manager

          OR

          Marketing Cloud Admin permission set

          1. From the Consent page, select Preference Pages and Subscriptions, and then click New Subscription.
          2. Enter a name for the subscription, such as Product Updates.
          3. Select at least one channel.
          4. If you selected SMS or WhatsApp as a channel, select at least one sender code or channel number. For RCS, select at least one RCS agent.
          5. Save your work.

          After you save, you can import consent data to the communication subscription and send messages to subscribers. You can also add email subscriptions to the email preference page.
