In some industries, businesses must retain a record of all emails sent, including the
content and each email recipient. The blind carbon copy (BCC) email compliance feature can be used
with a third-party archival system to store emails sent from Account Engagement. Configure this
feature to send a copy of every Account Engagement email to your BCC address.

Advanced, and Premium
Editions
Account Engagement isn’t responsible for the archival of emails after they have been sent
from our servers. If you must archive your emails for legal purposes, we recommend using a
third-party service.
You can’t use this feature with mail plug-ins.
Don’t open or interact with emails in the BCC email inbox because clicks, opens, spam
complaints, and opt-outs are reported and can skew your email reports.
BCC emails don’t affect delivery rates, total sent, or total delivered in email reports.
Set Up BCC Email Compliance An Account Engagement admin can configure the BCC email compliance feature in your business unit settings. Before you set up this feature, make sure that you have a BCC email address that is accepting emails.
Re-Enable Email After a BCC Failure When BCC email compliance is enabled, all live and test emails are also sent to the BCC email address. If an email sent to the BCC email address bounces, all email sending is suspended until a valid BCC email address is provided. You receive an in-app notification when a BCC failure occurs.
