          Database Limits

          Database Limits

Learn how mailable prospects count toward your database limit.

          Note
Note A prospect is defined as a business record contact connected to an individual. To count as mailable, a prospect must be eligible for all marketing and operational emails. See Prospect Mailability Status.

Your mailable prospect limit is shared across business units. For example, you have a limit of 10,000 mailable prospects and two business units (A and B). If business unit A has 5,000 mailable prospects and business unit B has 7,000 mailable prospects, you exceeded your contracted limit by 2,000.

To check your limit and database usage, go to your account settings and click the Usage and Limits tab. When you approach your database limit in a single business unit, you get an in-app message. An email notice is also sent to the point of contact for renewal notices, usage limits, and database size and to the user with import prospect permissions who logged in most recently.

As your database grows, you can increase your limit or clean up your database. To expand your database, contact your Account Executive.
