            Configure Cookie Duration

            To limit the number of days Account Engagement stores a customer cookie, you can adjust the duration of visitor_id and pi_opt_in tracking. The default duration is set to 365 days.

            Required Editions

            Available in: All Account Engagement Editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To edit business unit settings: Account Engagement Administrator role
            1. Open the settings for your business unit.
              • In Account Engagement, click gear icon and then select Settings.
              • In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Settings.
            2. For Max Tracking Cookie Duration (days), enter the number of days that you want the cookies to persist.
            3. Save your changes.

            When visitors and prospects visit a page with your tracking code, their existing cookies are updated to the new duration.
