If your business unit was created before February 15, 2021, you can default tracker
domains to use HTTP or HTTPS. We recommend securing all tracker domains by defaulting them to
HTTPS. Business units created after February 15, 2021 default all tracker domains to
HTTPS.
Required Editions
User Permissions Needed
To set a tracker domain to HTTPS:
Account Engagement Administrator role
To default a domain to HTTPS, first enable an SSL certificate for the tracker domain and
set your company website to HTTPS. Resolve any mixed content in your marketing assets so that all
external resources load over HTTPS.
Open the Domain Management page.
In Account Engagement, select Admin and then select
Domain Management.
In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Settings
and then Domain Management.
Next to the domain you want to secure, click the , and select Default
HTTPS or Default HTTP.
