Manually Enable SSL for Tracker Domains

If your business unit was created before February 15, 2021, you can enable SSL for individual tracker domains to access content over HTTPS. Business units created after February 15, 2021 automatically enable SSL for all tracker domains.

To enable SSL for a tracker domain: Account Engagement Administrator role
          Important
Important Make sure that all your assets and links use HTTPS. When a domain defaults to HTTPS and tries to serve unsecured content, visitors receive security warnings and the page doesn't render correctly.

Before you can secure a domain, it must be validated on the Domain Management page in Account Engagement.

          1. Open the Domain Management page.
            • In Account Engagement, select Admin and then select Domain Management.
            • In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Settings and then Domain Management.
          2. Next to the domain you want to secure, click the gear icon, and then select Enable SSL.

The SSL certificate is typically ready within 15 minutes, as indicated by the SSL Status column. After the certificate is ready, you can set the domain to default to HTTPS.
