          Remove Fields from Object Sync

          Remove Fields from Object Sync

To remove your Object Sync custom fields from CRM Analytics, complete a few tasks in Salesforce and Account Engagement.

          Required Editions

Available in: B2B Marketing Analytics and B2B Marketing Analytics Plus in Lightning Experience

          • B2B Marketing Analytics Plus is available in Salesforce Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Account Engagement Premium Edition. Also available in Account Engagement Plus and Advanced Editions with the B2B Marketing Analytics Plus add-on.
          • B2B Marketing Analytics is available in Account Engagement Plus, Advanced, and Premium Editions. Also available in Account Engagement Pro and Ultimate Editions with the B2B Marketing Analytics add-on.

A custom field can’t be deleted if it’s referenced in a dataflow or app. When you sync, we notify you if a field is in use.

          1. In Marketing Setup, enter Object Sync in the Quick Find box and select Object Sync.
          2. Click Select Custom Fields.
          3. On the Object Sync Settings page, mark the field you want to remove, set it to Exclude, and click Go.
If a field has been deleted in Account Engagement, it doesn’t appear on this settings page.
          4. On the Marketing Setup page, click Sync Now.
          5. From Analytics Studio, open Data Manager and select the Connect tab.
          6. In the B2BMktProspect object, deselect the field you want to delete and save your work.

After you complete these steps, the field is queued for removal. Queued fields count toward your allocations until the system deletes them. This lag can cause field creation errors in business units that are approaching field limits. To request immediate removal, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
