The tracking and consent API provides functions for each step in the page view tracking
process, giving you control over how Account Engagement tracks page views. After you activate the
API in business unit settings, work with your developer to implement custom compliance
solutions.

To activate the tracking and consent API:
Account Engagement Administrator role
Open the settings for your business unit.
In Account Engagement, click and then select
Settings.
In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement
Settings.
Click Edit and then select Activate the Tracking &
Consent JavaScript API.
Save your work.
After you activate the tracking and consent API in Account Engagement, it's ready for your
developer to use.
