Most prospects are related to their visitor activity when they convert, but you can
manually associate a visitor with a prospect. This feature comes in handy when you’re in contact
with a potential prospect whose company is in your visitor report.
Required Editions
User Permissions Needed
To create or associate a visitor to a prospect:
Account Engagement Administrator or Marketing
role
Note When you manually associate a visitor, the email address you enter for the prospect is
prefilled in Account Engagement forms.
Navigate to Prospects | Visitors and find the visitor you want to associate.
Click Create / Associate next to the visitor.
Enter an email address for the prospect record. If you have multiple prospects with the
same email address, Account Engagement associates the visitor to the prospect with the most
recent value in the Last Activity field.
