Associating Prospects with Campaigns
A prospect is related to an Account Engagement campaign based on the first marketing asset that they interact with as a visitor, even before converting to a prospect.
You can set or update campaigns in a few ways.
- When prospects are imported
- When the prospect’s campaign is manually edited on the prospect record
- Using a completion or page action to change or associate prospects with a campaign
- Using an automation rule to associate prospects with a campaign
- When the Google Analytics connector is configured to create and associate Account Engagement campaigns
A prospect is associated with only one campaign at a time, which helps with ROI analysis. You can define the campaign as what asset generated the lead for the prospect.
