          Salesforce Campaigns in Account Engagement

You can sync campaigns to Salesforce to display them in Account Engagement with campaign members and statuses. You can also add prospects to Salesforce campaigns from Account Engagement.

          Note
Note This information doesn’t apply to business units using Connected Campaigns.

Salesforce campaigns don’t have a one-to-one relationship with Account Engagement campaigns. You can set up campaigns in both systems, but all prospects in a Salesforce campaign aren’t automatically added to an Account Engagement campaign and vice versa.

An Account Engagement campaign refers to the first marketing campaign that the prospect interacted with, similar to a source field. A Salesforce campaign is more like as a multitouch campaign. Prospects can be related to many Salesforce campaigns at one time with different statuses in each one.

To see Salesforce campaigns in Account Engagement, open the Campaigns page and scroll to the Salesforce campaign table. You can filter the table to view active, inactive, and deleted campaigns.

To add prospects to an active Salesforce campaign, use the Add to Salesforce Campaign action in automation rules, segmentation rules, completion actions, and engagement programs.
