          Add the Olark Connector

          Add the Olark Connector

          To track visitors who engage with you via Olark chat, add the Olark connector.

          Required Editions

          User Permissions Needed
          To add a connector: Account Engagement Administrator role
          1. Open the Connectors page.
            • In Account Engagement, select Admin and then select Connectors.
            • In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Settings and then Connectors.
          2. Click + Create New Connector.
          3. Click Olark.
          4. Enter your Olark ID.
          5. (Optional) To create a prospect when visitors enter their email in a pre-chat survey, select Make Prospects from the Pre-Chat Survey.
            When this setting is enabled, configure the pre-chat survey in Olark.
          6. Save the connector.

          Add an Olark chat window to a tracked web page to start capturing visitor data.
