Use Dynamic Content in an Email
To add variations of content for different people in a classic email, add dynamic content with merge fields.
- Open a classic email, and then click where you want to add dynamic content.

In the editor, click

From the first dropdown, select the dynamic content to include.
If you’re working with a plain text email, edit the source code and remove the dynamic content’s HTML tags.
- Use the preview dropdown to preview different variations.
- To insert the content merge field, click OK.
When a recipient opens the email, the dynamic content variation appears.
Verify the dynamic content by creating a test prospect that matches the criteria for each variation. Then add the prospects to a test list.
