          Enhanced Email Experience Permissions

          Enhanced Email Experience Permissions

Various permissions are necessary to set up, create, and send enhanced email from Account Engagement.

          Required Editions

Available in: any Account Engagement Edition with Salesforce Professional, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions

Pardot is now known as Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. We wish we could snap our fingers to update the name everywhere, but you can expect to see the previous name in a few places until we replace it, including in the app itself.

          Permission Sets and User Roles

An admin can create and assign the Create Account Engagement Content permission set on the Content Setup page in Marketing Setup. The permission set includes access to the drag-and-drop builder, the ability to manage email content, and access to Salesforce CMS (Content Management System) and its Channels and Workspace tabs.

To preview, test, or send an email, users must also have a Marketing user role in Account Engagement, or the individual permissions indicated in the table.
